Orlando, Fla. (October 15, 2006) - Piaggio flew into the record books again today with its new P.180 Avanti II aircraft setting another new speed record, this time from Denver to Orlando. The new speed record adds to a list that began in 2000, the year the company opened its North American facility.

Avantair continues to expand Avanti II fleet; five aircraft received from Piaggio Aero in past two months

Avantair, the exclusive provider of fractional aircraft shares in the Piaggio Aero Avanti P.180 aircraft, took delivery of 5 new p.180 Avanti II, delivered from Piaggio Aero since September.
Avantair’s fleet now comprises 29 aircraft.
The company, wich has on order 54 aircraft more, is going to operate a fleet of approximately 40 aircraft by the end of FY2007.
