Geneva 2nd -5th June 2005: Piaggio Aero display the new P180 Avanti II in Ferrari’s livery at  the European   Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition (booth 1644 and static display)

During the EBACE will be presented  Mubadala Development, the  principal investment company wholly owned by the Government of Abu Dhabi  that has acquired 35% of the equity,  becoming a strategic partner of Piaggio Aero Industries.

The brand new Avanti II on display at the EBACE  features a fully integrated new Pro Line 21 avionics system, making the Avanti II the most up-to-date and still the fastest turboprop in production, more efficient and more flexible than most business jets in its class.

One hundred of Piaggio Aero’s flagship product, the Avanti, have already been delivered, with more than100 aircraft on order for the new version Avanti II, with a backlog worth 640 million US$.
