Pratt & Whitney America JSF - F135
The F135 program with Pratt & Whitney America is one of the most exciting Military program that has ever been developed and Piaggio Aero Industries capabilities have secured agreement for the manufacture and supply of a major package of components in the most critical areas of the F135 Engine. Piaggio Aero Industries participation on the F135 involves the manufacture of the Low Pressure Turbine Case, Turbine Support Casing and a quantity of six Bearing Housing components. The F135 engine program is currently in the initial Low Rate Initial Production phase (LRIP) and Piaggio Aero are supplying to Pratt & Whitney America all development hardware and initial production engine requirements for the Bearing Housings with a shared schedule on the more complex LPT Casing.
