Performance

The P180 Avanti II is a perfect combination of performance, comfort, efficiency and economical operation. No other aircraft in its class can match its level of excellence. The P180 Avanti II is powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6 66-B engines, which propel the aircraft to a service ceiling of 41,000 feet (12,500 meters) and a maximum speed of 402 knots (745 kmh) at 38,000 feet (9,450 meters), with a maximum operating mach (MMO) of 0.70. Without a doubt, the P180 Avanti II is the best performing turboprop aircraft available on the market. With its high performance, it can compete directly with many turbojet aircraft, yet its operating costs are decidedly lower.

Takeoff and landing distances

The P180 Avanti II can take off and land on runways less than 1000 meters long, so it can operate in and out of small airports that are not serviced by scheduled airlines and cannot be used by many personal jets. And with its steep approach certification, the P180 Avanti II can fly into airports with restricted access, such as London City, Lugano Agno.

Range

Thanks to its extended cruising range, with a typical IFR mission of 1300 nautical miles and maximum range of 1800 nautical miles (2800 km) with VFR reserve, the P180 Avanti II can easily reach any medium-range destination without the need for refueling stops.

Engines

The Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6 66 engine is the most popular, most reliable turboprop powerplant in the world. Its new PT6A-66B version develops a derated 850 SHP, even though it has a maximum thermal power of over 1630 HP.

Speed

The P.180 Avanti II holds various speed records is the fastest and most advanced turboprop in the world, with a range of over 1,500 miles at a speed over 400 kts and a maximum cruising altitude of 41,000 ft.
